well i have an email addresss xyz@hotmail.com
its password is up to me...and i dont think it has been compromised...
though i have changed the password now...
but from some days i have been receiving lots of mails..
saying remove me from mailing list
the mail has newsletter@cricketmerchant.com in TO field...but it is coming to my hotmail....
so what is this...is it kind of virus...joke..or what...
what do i do next...
i have receieving lots of emails every now and then saying remove me...though none of those mail were sent by me....
our isp uses proxy
i dont use any smtp or any such thing or have not installed any mail server in my computer...
so should i do ...is my computer being misused...(means throught internet)
it is single handle computer and it is not used by any others....

i used latest nod 32(updated) its firewall shows nothing...
