What about replaced system files after Windows XP Repair?

Guys!

Tell me one thing.

If I install XP SP2 with all updates and after sometime my system get corrupted and I need to Repair XP using Repair option in CD.

Then It'll replace all system files with the CD files. So all updated files will be replaced by default files of CD.

Then will windows again d/l and install those already installed updates to replace those default files with the new ones?

Absolutely yes tats the main drawbck in WINDOWS REPAIR option buddy..

The older files are replaced by the ones on the CD so u hv to d/l the updates again.

Will the Automatic Updates again prompt and d/l the required (already installed) updates?

Or we hv to manually install them?
