Guys i have a P4 3ghz

wid intel D915GAV origianal

i got 2 cd drives---1 cd rw & 1 dvd combo
also 1 512mb

da prob was dat ma smps crashed
it used to give a lot of probs

like fan noise so irritating

juz suggest a gud spms which i should install

plzz

hurry

i got to use her again in a week

:D I got same mobo procee U must get smps with 12V,18Watt rating.be strict over the wattage and voltage rating

by brand : Colorsit M400U, 592W, best & cheap at 1100

or U better go in the market & check which brans are available, at 400W, & note down their power rating to show us here, only thne we can recomend one

Antec SmartPower 2.0 350W spms should be enough ..... and its really good .... ....

Also check this out .... it should give u a rough idea of what smps would you require ...

your specification needs power hungry SMPS. go for Antec True Power @400-450 watt.

good thing people are now caring about their PSU.

I've recently bought an Antec smartpower 500W for my athlon x2 rig. Got this one for only $50 after rebates and discounts, pretty good deal, huh...otherwise I'd highly recommend these brands for a PSU (in the given order):

PCPower&Cooling
Seasonic
Fortron
OCZ
Antec
Enermax
ThermalTake

not sure about their availability in India though.

edit: oh yeah, don't get anything less than 350W. I recommend 400W+ so that nothing goes wrong when you decide to overclock, add another hdd, a gig of ram or upgrade your GPU.
