good thing people are now caring about their PSU.

I've recently bought an Antec smartpower 500W for my athlon x2 rig. Got this one for only $50 after rebates and discounts, pretty good deal, huh...otherwise I'd highly recommend these brands for a PSU (in the given order):

PCPower&Cooling
Seasonic
Fortron
OCZ
Antec
Enermax
ThermalTake

not sure about their availability in India though.

edit: oh yeah, don't get anything less than 350W. I recommend 400W+ so that nothing goes wrong when you decide to overclock, add another hdd, a gig of ram or upgrade your GPU.
