@thetechfreak shouldn't we recommend OP to get better speakers as he is into wathing movies and are you sure that 500GB HDD still costs Rs. 2150 as in most of the online sites it's upto 2.8k -2.9k .

Here goes my suggestion.

Component | Make | Price Processor |AMD Phenom II x4 840|4800
Motherboard |Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3|4800
RAM |G-skill F3-10600CL9S-2GBNT|700
Graphic Card |MSI R6670 1GB |5600*
HDD |Seagate 500GB 7200.12|2200

Keyboard & Mouse |Logitech MK100|500
UPS |Zebronics 600VA|1100
Speakers |Logitech Z313|1500

*For HD Movies, 5670 is enough, moreover OP hardly games with it, So 6670 suits the requirement with much lesser price.

Thank you very much to all !

I wish you all very Happy Diwali & prosperous New Year !

I agree with you all that HDD price have gone up like real estate. I did some research today in market and found out that 1 TB HDD is now Rs. 4500 and 500 GB HDD is Rs. 3500. I got few quotations from the market as mentioned below;

Processor - Core i5 2400 3.1GHz Rs. 9,200
Motherboard - Gigabyte H67M-D2 - Rs. 4,200
Graphic Card - MSI R6450 1GB GDDR3 Rs. 3,100
RAM - Kingston (2 X 2 GB) Rs. 1,300
HARD DISK - Seagate 1 TB - Rs. 4,500
DVD Writer - Samsung / Sony - Rs. 1,000
Cabinet - Cooler Master - Rs. 1,800
Power Supply - 500W - Rs. 1,000
Keyboard & Mouse - Logitech Wireless Desktop MK260 - Rs. 1,200

What is your opinion on this?

Thanks Again!

Which Power Supply was that ?? Can you please post the Make or Model details of the same ??

Rest seems fine, but why not getting a MSI R6670 1GB, i think its well under your budget limit.

I dont think its a branded one. Get a FSP Saga II 500w @2.1(appx) atleast. I am guessing because I cant think of any good PSU that costs Rs.1000.

Hi All,

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

One of my friend has suggested me following configuration;

Processor: AMD APU A4-3400 2.7 GHz
MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-A75-D3H, onboard graphic card HD 6410D
This AMD LIano combo will cost Rs. 15,000

What is your opinion on this?

BMG ftw!!
^^ To be very honest, that's a bad combo.
As for PSU you mentioned in the post before the above, it must be some local branded one. Avoid it as it may damage other components of your rig.
FSP Saga II 500W @2.1K is the minimum that you must have.
