Hi I am upgrading my processor from pentium D 2.8ghz to Core 2 Duo 1066 max . Let me know if any one will to sell.

I checked that freq is very low than my current dual core. Does it make a difference.

Yours is 1.8ghz c2d. Mine DC 2.8GHZ .

Thanks for the Info. yes there is a slight performance change upto 20 percentage. I agree. but i thought higher the frequency faster the performance would be. Let me know your offer.PM me. Does i had any warranty left.

Replied via PM. C2D is a different architecture compared to Dual Core series. Higher frequency is one criteria but there are other criteria which determine the performance of a processor.

Need urgent core 2 duo or core 2 quad used one

Hi guys i need core 2 duo 2.8-3.2 ghz or core 2 quad cpu used one. I am having a g41 combo board bought mistakenly and i cant use it with my old intel pentium d 820 processor. i bought it mistakenly. If any want the board i will put it in the bazar .

i got Pentium Dual-Core E5800 @ 3.20GHz its way ahead of the c2d series at 2.2k bench test. Its cheap as well. So better for now. Will build one based on the new ivy series chipset later.
