want a dual core laptop for 35 k...

guys i checked out... Acer 4710z was a good dual core and i had decided to
buy it ... but now the prices have gone to 30 k....

i have 5000 more to spend...
can anyone recommend a model with better chipset/grafix?

i simply think that the 943 is not good...


any good choices for 35 k???

Intel Chipset 943 has nothing much to do with Grfx as the Notebook comes with GMA 950 which controls the grfx so when comes to GRFX Acer 4710 (C2D) and 4710z use the same GRfx engine !!!

yes for 35k u do get the option for the Acer 4710 which is a Core 2 Duo lapy but my personal opinion, not worth to by a C2D with GMA 950 atleast it should have Mobile Intel 965 (GMA x3100) or better like 8400 GM....

For C2D segment I would vote for Dell 1420

common, ints the intel 943, isnt it... intel 943 has by default GMA 950... that was what i was talking about...

and BTW.. i was talking about dual cores... any (pentium dual core, core 2 duo, X2, all)

well i think Acer 4520 hits the sweet spot for me, Nvidia 7000m gfx....

didnt get your point most of the C2D Notebook in market comes with Intel 945 chipset which is also GMA 950

Take a look at HP Range for x2 products as well as the Compaq too !!

only 965 one has x3100...

@Everybody, go for dell 1420. its the best u can get with budget ranging 35-40 k. they have reduced their prices due to diwali. it will fit very well in ur budget.
