wanna buy a Graphic Card nd a UPS

Hey guys....i hv to buy a GRAPHIC CARD nd a UPS....please suggest me a gud one ....m thinkin UPS of APC nd graphic card ATI HD series.....

I m confused if i shuld buy HD 4800 series or upper series.....i cn expend around 10-15k on graphic card

mah configuration -
19"Dell TFT
PhenomII - 965BE
Asus M4a78T-E
Corsair 4GB(2X2)
SMPS - Coolermaster 600W
Creative 4.1 Speaker

for graphics card, you got 2 option:

GTX 460 1Gb
HD5850 1Gb but if your PSU is of Extreme Series. theres every chance your PSU will blew up the moment you plug in your new card.

as for UPS. minimum is 650VA from APC. more is better.

Why everyone always bug the CM PSU's? Ofcourse they were faulty once, but not all of them. I've seen many people using their CM PSU's with GTX280/HD4870 w/o any problem till now.

But still, considering the gfx card update, you need to change the PSU, but not the fact that it'll blown up your card, but for upgrading. You better opt for Corsair VX550W @ 4.5k.

If you're not on budget constraint, go for GTX460 1GB or HD5850 + VX550W

^^ only option is VX450 + HD5770. or try sell your existing PSU & get VX450 + cheapest GTX460. may have to wait a month for it.

Nope, the options are selling his old PSU, and get a VX550W+HD5850/GTX460 = 4.5k+15k ~ 20k.

But still he has one option left, buy a HD5850/GTX460 and try with CM PSU. I'm damn sure that it will work like a charm and will not blown up.

VX450W will support HD5850/GTX460. it'll be tight but should support without any problem.

thats a total luck based thing. as no processor is same, so is no PSU. some CM Extreme Power can support HD5870. whereas some (my firnds) can't take load of a single GTS250.
