I want a software by which we can call for free using GPRS on mobile.I mean VOIP software.
Also plz suggest for both s60 v2 & java OS,coz my friend uses K750i & i use 3230.

Nope, The Software Is Free ,just Down Load The Application And Call Your Skype, Msn Or Google Friends

@Gigacore-Mig33 requires credit to call.
@vasculic-Fring is not supported on my nokia 3230 & being a symbian app it can't be used either on k750i.

Any other app?

Does the Skype calling work on Airtel EDGE network? Are the speeds enough..? Or Wi-Fi is needed for effective utilization?

there is a mild time delay sometimes, otherwise its ok. i have not tried it with wi fi.

Tried it on my Nokia E50.. There is considerable time delay. Tried on my dad's i-mate SP5m with Wi-Fi. There is no time delay at all.. Think its time to buy a cheap Wi-Fi phone.

But when will that become a reality. 3G phones have been in india for the past 2 yrs almost. And still the service is not there.. And there are operators still fighting for more 2.5G spectrum itself. Imagine how much fight will be there for 3G. I hope there are more Wi-Fi spots in the city than relying on 3G. Already Subway has started offering free Wi-Fi in their restaurants. Way to Go!
