Voice chat in yahoo messenger 7

Hello..!!!
I downloaded yahoo messenger 7 and installed it. Now I am having problem with voice chat with friends who are using old yahoo.
I am not speaking about Ip calling using yahoo. But voice chat which was in old yahoo.
I can get voice chat option in conference only. But is there any opiton for direct voice chat?
please guide me..

I have a Beta version of Yahoo installed. There's no direct voice chat option in there, I think. Only in conferences can one voice chat.

voice chat between the Beta and earlier versions of are not supported

well u can tell ur friends to upgrade their messengers the voice calling works great and i think its much better than voice chat

A new version of yahoo messenger has been released.. INDIAN version.. Voice is also supported
