VLC not showing every subtitle lines from srt

I had edited the .srt subtitle files , adding the following lines at the end of the file , " - mitraark - " in Aqua color , from 0 - 10 seconds of the video.

00:00:00,325 --> 00:00:10,390
-- <font color=#00FFFF> - mitraark - </font> --

It shows perfectly well in Windows Media Player , KMPLayer , Media Player Classic [ K-Lite ] , Nero Showitme.

But only in VLC Media Player , the line doesn't show up. It seems writing the line at the end isn't detected by VLC

Any variation in the code which can make VLC show the line ?

^did u used any tool for editing other than notepad/wordpad etc?

use subtitle edit & check

I just used Notepad.

Anyways , i noticed VLC [ and all other players ] showed the line when written at top instead of bottom of the srt file. ]

Still , i don't know why VLC cannot show the line if the code is written at the bottom
