Wandering in the zone ...
Looks great...

Two of the best media players for Linux, Amarok and VLC both are now using QT4. :)

Trying to update but showing
Using livna repository !!!
Which distro do you use ?
Since this released only on September 15th, 2008, most distros don't have it, and making packages available for distros is something which can take time. But heck, you can always install from source code. Its a simple ./configure && make && sudo make install thing till an official package arrives :)

Looks great...

Looks ? Wait till you see the list of bugs still in it. There is a HUGE problem with the OSX Release. I don't know the details, but each time you forget to do er... something before installing, VLC crashes. :D

Oi, AmaroK is only an audio player. The only other all in one media player for linux which rocks and uses QT4 is SMPlayer 8)

@MetalheadGautham - Audio comes under the media branch I suppose. Why point the obvious? :D Besides a plasma applet for the Phonon based video player is incoming for it (Amarok), works very buggily for now.

I used this version at college today (Had to download it for playing "An Inconvenient Truth" to the class) and its great to see full-screen controls. The port too looks great, but am satisfied right now with mplayer. This is great to carry around instead!

Phonon Plasma what ? Please eloborate.

And yeah, isn't Amarok2 going to feature video playback capability ?
