The Devil's Advocate
just i said some1 mis-interpreting facts:

In plain English, this means that Vista machines won't be able to play next-generation, high-definition DVDs in their full, high-resolution glory unless they're equipped with monitors that support a new DRM scheme called High-Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection, That'll mean that PC owners wanting to upgrade to Vista will also have to spend hundreds of dollars to buy HDCP-compliant monitors
"Any DRM content that's out there today, you'll be able to play with any existing monitor using Vista."

However, Birge confirms that new monitors will be required to support full playback of high-definition DVDs. "Next-generation DVDs will require HDCP for playback,"
please always read carefully before u jump to conclusions .... these are excerpts taken from the second link given by thunderbird.117 ..... please read before u leap

Why do you people think Ms will be in loss? Only because it will stop pirates like you. Or do you think this will apply to the orginal versions as well. Come-on even windows 95 played multimedia. And even if you get a crack for Vista, you wont probably find a crack for softwares in a few years time.So give up piracy , dude. Think of it as a practice to the time when you will be forced to.

ur wrong in this whole world everything is crackable in software , the haqckers and crackers are more intelligent and brilliant than those of developers . So piracy can stop only by the consumers not by the developers

This email has been doing rounds. but i dont think this piece of news is actually from microsoft. all this seems to be something impossible. microsoft will surely first think of the losses it will incur by putting all these things and losing market share

rather than the losses of the ppl creating the music.
i have already said these restrictions are to stop piracy not to cause inconvenience to users

yes MS is taking steps to curb piracy, but this is never ending, if u equip the police with good guns the criminals will always come up with something better, it is only possinle to reduce piracy by bridging everything together that is what MS is trying to do ... but all the 'restrictions' that 1 is talking about are not completely tru please carefully read the links which thunderbird.117 has posted .... they are just mis-interprtations

One things is that you can not piracy will all this DRM.

BTW. Five or more teams or expert hackers and crackers are going to crack vista.

Best of luck.

!! RecuZant By Birth !!
if this happens ..then i think ms is doomed.......

<everything here is totally fictionous> but another thing is some one some where will find a way to bypass these alll...or who knows ms itself might leak some solution.....look from this point...MS says these will happen...and whoever is listening to them will think they should only buy original and will invest and buy....and in the same time...ms might release these patches for these restriction and also make vista a popular one in the background...

NICE STRATEGY!!!!!!!
