vista boot menu vanished??????

i was using 2 os -xp & -vista. In the morning time only my xp crashed so i reinstalled my xp but now my problem is that VISTA boot menu is not showing up.how can i recover my vista boot menu?....:confused:

I dont know how to do that
but be4 installing vista u should have installed xp
I think there was a tutorial (in tut section) on how to get the bootloader back?

put in vista dvd ... boot with it

then go to system recover or something like that u will get dos prompt type the following 2 commands:

bootrec /fixboot
bootres /fixmbr

im finding a proper how to if i do i will link it here .... but the abv works just fine

or u can try this:

Where <D> is the Drive letter.
Reboot. You will now be able to see the Vista menu option/s.

yep.... my prob. was solved.........i booted from vista DVD & i entered the recovery option & then i selected "automatic fix my startup" & nw my vista boot menu is back...... thank all u guyz 4 ur valuable suggestions..:D
