Re: Video Editing & Gaming PC @ 90~100k

I would go with the FX 8350 and ASUS M5A99X since having more cores is better in multitasking and other works.

And you can easily go with a HD 7950 CF

If OP can wait a little then I think it is wise to wait for the release of Intel Haswell release.

Great config overall, but for the kind of money he is willing to spend, he deserves better than a crappy Dell TN Panel monitor. I would recommend the Dell Ultrasharp range which have IPS Panels and should come in the 15-17k price range for the 24 incher.

Also, a modular gold certified Corsair PSU from the AX line up or at the very least HX lineup would be a better long term investment as opposed to the TX series.

Those can be added, but that would require to substitute some products. The sabertooth can be substituted for MSi 990FXA GD65.

nginx , Dell ST2240L is not a TN panel Monitor, it is an IPS panel based display and really good display for the price you pay. The only problem is it is a Glossy display.

ALL monitors from ST series are TN panel monitors. As Sainatarajan said, you must have confused it with the S2240L which is indeed an IPS but 21.5" and probably much more expensive.

Yes. Although in most of the online shops it is retailing at 9.1k, street price is much lower. Couple of members have purchased it at below 9k price.
