USB sound card to connect 5.1 speakers !

Hi Everyone,

I want to connect a 5.1 speaker system to my Laptop. I am looking out for a External USB sound card which would give me 5.1 output. One option is the Creative SB X-FI Surround 5.1 card, Which costs around 2500/- does anyone know here a cheaper option, a sound card other than that. which would at the same time convert the stereo sound from my laptop in a 5.1 surround sound using that USB sound card.

Creative SB X-FI Surround looks good. With EAX and X-fi, it is perfect for gaming but lack of Dolby/DTS is disappointing.

For price of 2.5k, it's worthy every penny.
