hey guys

i live in chennai . can someone tell me the price cheapest usb mp3 player available . thanx in advance .

You can get USB MP3 players for as less as Rs. 1900 for a 512 MB player. In fact, what u shall b getting for such a price is not a branded player, but some player which has been imported from countries like Korea, from where technology is exported at very low prices. I bought an MP3 player at Rs. 2100 (for a 512 MB),[ from a customs shop]; which has the name of a BIG electronics company on it & looks very genuine though I know that it has been manufactured by a Korean company. I can say this because the manual which has been provided has been printed in some east-Asian language.

So. I will suggest, that go ask in any customs shop & I am sure u will get an MP3 player at dirt-cheap prices. As far as performance is concerned...theres always a risk in buying electronic goods from such places, as there isnt any guaranttee which is given. But, I must say that I have been very lucky & my player hasnt given me any problems yet even after 6 months of use.

true, i friend of mine bought a mp3 for 3500...looked like a sony...was some made in china from another brand.....worked perfect though and even played video....
config: usb flash based 512 mb, color screen with 65000k

Hey know what.....I just checked out the rates here....I am getting a 1 GB MP3 player for 3000 here. It is a Sony product (Thats what the body says) & plays video (MPEG) as well....So it shall now be bbye to my old 512 Sony player.....The 1 GB player is goin to be mine within 24 hrs from now!! I must say the prices here are real cool.....1 GB for 3K!! You will never see that rate anywhere...!!

To be precise I am gettin the 1GB at 2970/- So thats even lesser tha 3K.......I am all excited!! I have reason to be...:) By the way, I am from Nagpur, Maharashtra

The mp3 players can very well be used as flash drives as well....So u cna now say bbye to floppies & CDs.

What is your capacity.Go for 128Mb mp3 players if you want it to be cheap.Creative is one choice.

i don't know a place in mumbai, but if u know any "gray market" that sells techno...thats ur best bet....don't try hi-fi shops..the prices will knock u over ur feet

Yaa there they sell really cheap, but at the risk of warranty !!!

yep, but if u look around a bit and make sure ur getting something that looks half-ways sturdy and doesn't look like it's going to fall apart, it might hold for atleast a year..
