usb drive troubles

i have a sandisk u3 cruzer micro 2gb pendrive.now,my pendrive has some folders such as documents.. etc..i recently downloaded some stuff from the internet..ever since a folder named documents has appeared inside the original folder..i scanned the drive for viruses using avg,avast and avira but they do not detect the folder as a virus.this folder cannot be opened.it gets deleted but on re connecting the pendrive it appears again.i formated the whole pen drive using thorough format but the folder still remains.there are two partitions on the pen drive.one has the u3 software installed on it.the other is a read only partition where i can store my files.

what should i do now?

Seems to me a Virus... if possible try scanning the drive with Better Paid AVSes line NOD 32 or Kaspersky

pretty much a viral infection. i haf a gut feelin that its brontok. anyways, dun use the avast u3 edition. scan it wid some other AV installed to ur hdd (update the av database first)

boot using a linux live CD ..delete all unnecessary files/folders

soln for all ur 'created by virus' problems
