"Intel recommends the use of a 2x12 power connector or a 2x10 power conector...ERROR

hi my computer gave the following error message when started.
it was too long to note down so i took some pics of the screen and joined them.
se the picture below.
*img515.imageshack.us/img515/9546/problemcx9.th.jpg

my config is
cpu - 2.8gz intel hyperthreading
mobo - 915 gav intel orignal
250gb sata segate harddisk
intex cabinet with colorsit power supply.

now i had 2*256=512mb ram of hynix.
i recently got 1 256mb ram of DYNET company.
so i installed it also with the other two.
i have 4 slots for ram in my mobo and it supports upto 4gb ram.
one slot is empty and remaning 3 are occupied by the 3 256mb rams.

all of these rams are of 400mhz (atleast that's what is written on there labels)

i have bought a transcend jetram of 1 gb ddr400. i want to install it in the 4th slot so that will make my total ram 1768MB. but just when i was thinking of opening my cabinet and installing the new ram this error came.

however my systen started when i "pressed any key" at the message and after that i have restarted my system 2-3 times and the error has not come up.
Now i hear a beep everytime the system starts

what was that message about. pls help me.
Intel recommends the use of a 2x12 or a 2x10 power connector in conjunction with the 1x4 alternate power connector
and if want any more details pls tell me.

For dual chanel configuration where the throughput of ur ram theorotically equals that of the FSB of the processor*8.There are channels on ur mobo each channel should have equal amounts of memory for Dual channel configuration or the performance will not reach anywhere near theorotical.Dual channel config can only be reached with equal amounts of ram on each cahnnel.Check ur manual for channel info.

The error popped up to notify u about the change in hardware.I do not have any idea about the power connector thing though.I m currently myself troubleshooting with my brother's high end config PSU problem.
