Right off the assembly line
I have recently upgraded my system , new config as follows
-Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 630(Pinless , supporting Hyper-Threading Technology 90 nm, LGA775 2MB L2 800 MHz)
-Intel® Desktop Board D915GAV
-2*256MB(400MHz) DDR Transcend RAM
-IBall i531 Cabinet(with one 9cm Rear Cooling Fan, one front 8cm Cooling Fan, one extra fan placed at the outlet for chimney and 350 Watts ATX power supply)
-Samsung 80GB Sata(7200RPM)
-XFX Nvidia GeForce 6200TC PCI-e Graphic Card
-LG 17" Flatron Moniter
-IBall email Mouse
-IKey Multimedia Keyboard
-Asus Cd Rom 52X
-Sony Floppy Drive
-External Cable Modem
-HP 1510 All in One
-Digital UPS 650VA

my PC works the whole night but the moniter is off , but sometimes when power gets cutoff at night , my UPS is unable to start my moniter and it restarts the whole system , recommend me a good UPS which can start my moniter in such conditions too .

Numeric 800VA its a very gud UPS which will cost u around 3.5k.but wen it comes to ups APC is the best choice but at the same time its much more expensive compared to other brands.

No pain....No gain
APC is the best but costly. But I have been using MICROTEK 800VA (Double Battery) for the last 1 year with no problem. Many people don't recommend MICROTEK but I didn't face any problem till now. Bought it for 2250/-.

Any one know how to maintain a UPS. I have APC UPS for two years now. Now the cold start function is gone. I remember reading some where that we should allow comple discharge of battery.

I have never done that. Is is necessary or not?
