i have developed a site using asp.net and sql server. i want to upload the site.. how can i upload the database.. can i just send the database file to the hosting server?

for that u may need to use a FTP software, if ur hosts support that... tel ur host, then may be we will be able to help u more

Coming back to life ..
You need to export the database as queries which you can import on your web service provider's server .. I dont have experience of SQL Server but Oracle and MySql works like this so it should work there too ..
