  1. Apple is all set to release iPhone & iPod Touch Firmware 3.0. OS 3.0 is second major firmware update for iPhone & iPod touch. iPhone 2G, 3G users are allowed to have free upgrade to iPhone firmware 3.0, however iPod touch users need pay $9.95 to upgrade to OS 3.0.
    We are sure many users are not happy with this kind of behavior from apple towards iPod Touch Users. Well don’t worry we will tell you how you can update iPod Touch 3.0 for free once apple had release OS 3.0 for iPod Touch.

    What’s New in iPhone OS 3.0 Update
    * Rotate iPhone to landscape to use a larger keyboard in Mail, Messages, Notes, and Safari.
    * Cut, copy and paste function to quickly and easily cut, copy, and paste text from application to application.

    * Voice memos to capture a memo, a meeting, or any audio recording on the go. Voice Memos will work with the built-in iPhone microphone or with the mic on your headset.
    * Improved Calendar (CalDAV).
    * Faster performance, autofill user names and passwords, and more on iPhone browser Safari.
    * Automatic Wi-Fi login.
    * Syncing all the notes you write on your iPhone back to your Mac or PC.
    * Give iPhone a shake and it shuffles to a different song in your music library.
    * Parental control.
    * Support for 30 languages and more than 40 keyboard layouts.
    * Run the next generation of iPhone apps, like peer-to-peer games and more.

    Yup it does work.You don't lose any functionality after jailbreak.So it doesn't make any difference in itunes usage whether your iPhone or iPodtouch is jailbroken or not.
