unlocking a router

we used to have internet connections in our hostels from wi-fi
there are many routers present for this .
the problem is that one of the router which we used earlier is now locked and we r unable to connect from it is there any way to unlock it?

What make, model, locked in what way?

how big is the lock?

See if you have a reset switch behind the router.

what do you mean by locked? was it unsecured previously and is now secured? In that case you would need the password to connect. Check with the network admin and if you are allowed to access the network, he should be happy to help you out.
