unable to send and receive emails from microsoft outlook

i am unable to send emails from microsoft outlook and outlook express despite all efforts...for any account whether yahoo, gmail or hotmail...it gives errors

what could be the reason..

try gmail auto config..... & yahoo dont give u pop access... about hotmail... give us little ditails what u have done??

for gmail go to the settings of ur mail account then to the 'Forwarding and POP" tab.....

Yahoo doesn't have a free POP3 server, you have to register for their premium service.
Hotmail should be configured as a HTTP server in Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook, not as POP3.
For Gmail, run the autoconfig tool by downloading it from here and following the instructions.
