On KillingSpree!!!
My pc is not booting and i am unable to locate the source...
When i turn on the pc, nothing comes on the screen. The cpu fan is running. I tried another monitor, but the problem persisted. So monitor is not at fault. I also tried the HDD on other pc, but it was not at fault , coz i think that if HDD is at problem then the pc should atleast boot upto BIOS. I thought of checking the RAM in the same manner but it was DDR1 RAM and the other pc had DDR2 RAM so i couldnt.

Can anyone tell me which part failure causes a pc to not boot even upto BIOS.

hi once i wrongly flashed my mobo, then the same prob took place. got a new one though.
Strip ur pc to the bare minimum then check if it boots. Whats the last thing you did on ur pc. also reset ur bios

The problem isn't related to RAM according to me....
If a RAM problem occurs...then the pc starts till the logon screen and then crashes...
I'm not sure about this.... but maybe u should check your UPS and try another one from ur friend or someone else...
maybe its not able 2 give enough power the d pc

@ Scavenger:
Remove all devices (HDD, RAM & Optical Drives) first, from your mobo. Then try to run the PC. A beep must come, since your RAM is connected. If not then, your BIOS is damaged somehow.
Did you flash your BIOS anytime?

Send in your system specs too.
