Right off the assembly line
My Win 9X system is not recognising the Driver for ADATA flash Disk.

It was working fine till I reinstall Win9X for some other reason and there after it refuses to identify the driver.

I had installed the driver came with flash disk. When I connect flash Disk, I get a message that "USB Mass Data storage found" but later system says - "Cannot find driver".

I had tried to give proper path as well in system folder but no success.
Can any genius help me in this?

Tks

@gudkake,
Follow these steps..
1.Install the Driver software for flash device.
2.Plug-in the flash device to USB port
3.Windows will search for the best driver. If you get a message “Windows cannot find the drivers for the device,” go to the Control Panel. Open the 'Add New Hardware Wizard' .Select Next.
4.In the Wizard window below, choose the option, 'Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location…” click Next.
5.Select 'Hard disk controllers' and click next
6.Select the manufacturer and model and click next.
Now windows will install necessary hardware.
7.Unplug the Flash device after the driver has been installed. You may then plug it back.
8.You may get the msg 'Windows has not installed a driver for this device'. Just ignore it and click Finish.

This should solve your problem.
