Ubuntu not loading after installing?

Hii I have now encountered a problem, I install ubuntu along side with windows 8. After installing I restart the computer then I'm getting only windows 8. I can't see the OS selection menu. I have two HDD. I install windows on master drive and ubuntu on slave drive and I assign the boot loader in slave drive.Please help me how to load the ubuntu boot loader first than windows 8??

Have you tried EasyBCD to add ubuntu to boot menu?

My problem is ubuntu is installed on a gpt disk with Legacy mode and windows also runs on legacy mode. When i run boot-repair it says gpt detected. How can you solve this issue...

Though Ubuntu is signed by Microsoft, Windows 8 gives a lot of problems. The best way you can do is use boot repair disc and restore Ubuntu. Disc will be around 500 MB. I used it under similar circumstance and it worked well.

which version of Ubuntu you are using....???

install Ubuntu of any one Partition of master drive

if you are install in slave drive , then don't chose install inside option . try install from booting as windows 8
