Better looking is considered but how snazzier?

Lots of people feel KDE is a little more eye-candy then GNOME...may be that is where he is coming from?

Eyecandy?kde is better in eyecandy by default;that i have to agree.But GNOME is also customizable to look bindaas!.GNOME suits many people.It tries to remain simple.most DE's are customisable to look the way u want GNOME too.
