Ubuntu 16.04 will go stable today

Ubuntu 16.04 will be available as stable download from today. Anyone planning to upgrade ?

Me . Have been using the 14.04 lts version as dual boot with win7 desktop and netbook . Both dual boot .

Downloaded it yesterday . Will try it out and report soon . Basic hardware requirements have gone up . 2ghz processor and 25 gb hdd free and 2gb ram minimum . That leaves out my Intel atom notebook out of the new update as it will lag mostly on the new version .

Yes, I too heard about the new hardware requirements. Hopefully it is not a resource hog.

Wait for first point release guys, this isn't stable or "LTS worthy" release at all!

I heard that some people have troubling installing 3 rd party apps as deb files in 16.04. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I am still to be prompted to a 16.04 update. I am waiting for a bug fix update.
