TV tunner card

I am planning to buy Samsung S20A300N LED backlit monitor.
Which TV tuner(External) card will be suitable for this monitor?

Why don't you buy a samsung monitor with built in TV tuner like Samsung P2370MS TV Monitor.

Actually when I had gone to purchase the same salesmen had given me same suggestion and finally I have bought the SAMSUNG 22" LCD TV which can be run as a monitor also.
But now my problem is that in my pc there is no HDMI/DVI ports and picture quality with VGA port is inferior compared to my earlier CRT monitor.
My computer configuration is as below:
INTEL(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU
E2180 @ 2 GHz
1GB RAM
Mother Board : ASUS P5KPL-VM/S ACPI
I want to know that which graphic card will be compatible with this configuration?
Also what will be cheap solution (1) Only procuring a graphic card or (2) Replacement of complete motherboard ????

For TV Tuners look for AverMedia ones. They usually cost around 1.5k. Else you can also go for Zberonics, Beetel or Yes. All of these cost around 1.3k. I have a zeb. External TV Tuner which costed me 1.1k. I am quite happy with it.

Sorry, i thought you are asking for a TV Tuner.

For GPU, go for HD 6670 DDR5 at 5.2k or HD 5670 512MB DDR5 at 4.2k.

Upgrading the CPU along with mobo and RAM will be a better decision here.

I have Samsung Syncmaster T220 & I use Techcom SSD TV723 with it! (VGA Cable + Airtel Digital TV Connection) It works totally fine!!

Btw, shouldn't the title bhi TV Tuner Card
