Guys, Any comments on Quality of LCD/LED TV's these days. had bought Toshiba 32AV800E last July and that is now having white lines horizontal and vertical on screen after being on for like 2 mins. (for first 2 minutes it will remain fine). Obiviously Toshiba has 1 year warranty only on this TV and they are asking 6.5K to change a card inside. All this makes me wonder how is the quality really for LCD TVs lately or its just Toshiba who is having bad quality TV's (The service center seemed to have too many pending complaints.)
We all know that these are all outsourced to some chinese oem makers like compal etc, but I don't expect them to go bad within span of 15 months..
What do you guys suggest should i get it repaired paying 6.5K from service center ? or try getting it repaired somewhere else. ?
