In my college, I use utorrent which starts during the system bootup. And, the operating system at college is Win 2000. The problem is that my enemies(read classmates) deletes the torrents which is kept for downloading by me. :(

So, I need a torrent client which is having password protection so that nobody can access/delete my torrents. And, the client should start normally during the bootup and reside in the systray.

So which client should I use ?

Thanx in advance.

I don't think you can find such a torrent client. Also to add, if there is some client offering password protection, it would prompt for a password during starting as well.

Simple - use a file hiding software like Universal Shield to hide C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\uTorrent

And also put all downloads to one folder and hide that folder too. :)

Thanks for the info !

But does this needs administrator rights to install ?

But the problem with Universal Shield is that uTorrent is unable to save the resume file if I encrypt the \Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\uTorrent directory. So the advantage of torrenting itself is lost.
