What will you guys do with such a speed? Even if you get the network speed...can your hard drives manage to read or write at such speeds? Those guys are using test packets to achieve those speeds while you all will want to download/upload real data :)

1. Streaming Music and Movies.
2. Playing games online.
3. Watching TV on net (future).

and lots more.

You see they are lot of possibilites to do so much on that speeds. Not just downloading. :)

Also 1 TB HDD has come.

^ It is not about how big the space you have on your HDD. It is about how fast your system can read data from your HDD platter. According to storagereviews.com, the fastest hard drive we currently have is Seagate Cheetah 15K.5 (300 GB Ultra320 SCSI) and its maximum transfer rate for reading is 135 MB/s or approx. 1 Gb/s and that is the maximum!!! In real world you will get much lesser transfer speeds. So the point becomes that can your hard drive serve data to accommodate that kind of network speed? I guess not...

What would be the cost of 2mbps in Japan???
Hope India gets 2 mbps unlimited plans :)
