This newbie needs urgent help on KNOPPIX

I booted into knoppix and tried to extract some files to my hard drive, but it simply refused. Why did this happen and How can I fix this? Also, How can I browse to open my MP3s or other files from my windows FAT32 hard drive? Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes u can do these things,

did u tried to extract files on NTFS portion coz that doesn't work, NTFS writing is not supported under knowpix...
one more thing if u haven't opted to create swap portion which it ask at boot time then also it wouldn't write any thing

just go to /mnt folder from your system main ,
i think knowpix makes shortcut of your HDD on desktop,
if it haven't mounted then search this forum u'll get it..
