The dumbest thing you have heard from people towards Science

Many people are n00bs in the field related to Science. They keep on telling foolish gestures which make us laugh. A boy told me today,

Boy: If we go on going and going in the same direction, we will fall isn't it.
Me: :shock: No!!! :lol::lol:
Boy: Why??:confused:
Me: Because the earth is round.:-|
Boy: Oh!! I think we live above the earth and the others(americans) live below the earth.
Me: :shock::shock: No they live on other side of the earth.
Boy: And I thought we live outside(on the surface) of the earth and the others below(under the crust) of the earth.
Me: :lol::lol::lol:
