Right off the assembly line
My system recently showed up with the BSOD error saying "your system has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer".It responded to run CHKDSK /F and also to check the hard drive controllers and for viruses.I did a boot time scan with avast antivirus,along with system restore,and a roll back of the hard drive controller driver.But still the BSOD persists...... my configuration is ASUS P5GCMX/1333 motherboard,ASUS EAH4350/1GD2/silent 1 GB graphic card,intel E2180 dual core processor 2Ghz,along with a 2 GB DDR2 RAM.................. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
