My Windows 2000 server is giving "sync out of range" error.Plz help.

this usually happens when ur monitor is set at a resolution/refresh rate that it does not support.To solve the problem,go into Safe mode and set the resolution and/or the refresh rate to a lower value.

Check whether you have done enough low configuration
Dont just click on ok after lowering the refresh rate\resolution, first click on apply and then ok. Sometimes changes are not saved.
IF ITS NOT WORKING WITH YOU THERE MUST BE SOME PROBLEM WITH YOUR VIDEO DRIVER. Try re-installing it.
