Broken In
Heylo!
I just installed SuSE 9.1 personal (love it so far) but was disappointed to find out that it does not detect my modem. i have the linux drivers for my modem but do not know how to install them. they are compressed in tar.gz format and when extracted they contain a bunch of files that i don't know what to do with.
i read somewhere that i have to copy the files to some folder or something along those lines but I don't know how to do this. Could anyone assist me along these lines? my modem is connected to COM3, I believe, but I'll check it out.
Please reply because a comp is useless without a net connectioN!!!!
