Suggestions required for a ASDL2+ Model + Wifi N Router

Hi,
As number of connected devices in home is increasing, thinking about upgrading my UTStar wa3002 provided my MTNL.

Requirements (Priority wise)
1. ASDL2+ Model (Will be used on MTNL 2Mbps connection)
2. 802.11N Support
3. Good Range of 3 rooms
4. Gigabit LAN.

My initial research showed that gigabit modems are costing a bomb so if the difference is too high this can be drooped (Although transferring files form NAS to PC over 100mbps connection is pain)

Usage
Mostly Net,
File streaming over wifi
Some times file transfers/backups over LAN
Xbox Media Playback (LAN)

Budget
Although not a constraint if the device is worth, but like typical middle class
the lower the better (or should I say Cheap and Best )

Also how is Beetel 450TC1 compared to my current modem, getting a deal for a unused MTNL one for around 1200 bucks, thinking about buying it as a backup, Is the deal/modem good.

I own a beetel 450tc1 and its fine, but just for net. No file sharing, or its PITA. Range is quite acceptable, but not beyond 3 rooms I suppose. (Depends on structure of wall too). All in all, fine for "back up" modem.

wifi modem/router with gigabit port will be certainly much costlier.this is the cheapest i could find & it is not even a modem:

hmm, All gigabit routers+ modems are costing upwards of Rs 7000, are they worth ?

I am thinking about a gigabit wifi router + a simple wired ASDL2+ Model, Is this setup gud

gigabit is only worth it if you are daily moving at least 40-50gb or more data.at 100 mbps one can move ~700mb in 1 minute while at 1000mbps one can move ~2gb in 1 minute between 2 systems.
