6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.

11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?

have considered SII, Razr(have read about its cheap quality display (though Super AMOLED) and wireless conectivity prob though) and HTC don't remember the model though :D

12. Any other info that you want to share

One imp. thing the handset should be future prooof for atleast 3 years.

I love HTC's sense UI, though its battery scuks...

I am planning to buy the new handset in Jan, so would like to know whether I should buy a handset or wait, if anyone knows about any announcements about any good model that is going to be released soon.

Thankx.

S2 is getting pricecut whereas Razr & Sensation XE cost almost same since launch. don't look for those untill they cost almost same as S2 (or maybe less).

@fz8975
thankx for the reply just read a faceoff somewhere (got the name of the site from here only :D) , it compared Razr and SII , and declared Razr as the overall winner though the SII was far superior performance wise...

@Sam
so what do you suggest to for SII now or wait for some time?

Galaxy S2 is great for your budget IMO. But checking out the iPhone 4 won't do you any bad. ;)
I am almost sure that the iPhone 4 will get the updates for a much longer period than any other Android Phone selling in India right now. Rest is your own personal preference.

If you can stretch ur budget a lil more then I would suggest you to go for Sensation XE for around 31-32k

Or you can try Samsung Note(if u r comfortable with its size),truly an awesome device

As your budget is good enough to purchase any good mobile, you can buy samsung galaxy note, samsung galaxy nexus, HTC sensation XE, and many other.

iPhone 4 has the similar capable hardware as Galaxy S and was released at same time. While Samsung is refusing give more than 2 updates,while Apple iPhone 4 could get many more updates with the same hardware. Does that mean iOS consumes much less resources while providing equally good or better experience than Android.

Yes,i O.S is more optimized,it is a closed ecosystem,naturally the fragmentation is never a problem.
But it has many limitations also.
It is probably still a marginally better o.s(not talking about apps) but that does not justify the ridiculous priceing of iphones.
