Thanks for the suggestions.
How much performance difference would be there between the two rigs? Will the gtx 560 be a bottle neck for the i7 2600k? And which 24" monitor would be the right choice?

Piyush

Lanaya
if you are asking for performance difference, then in which aspect you are asking it?
and no...17 2600k will fully utilize 560
the monitor mentioned above is the best deal at that price range

Wait for couple of days and get the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3R-B3, based on Z68 chipset, available @ 10.25K in Lynx-india. It is far better solution than any P67 boards.

I was asking how much difference will there be in the frame rates. So you say, 22" monitor would be good enough for me.

After reading some benchmarks I have found that the 6970 and gtx 570 run neck-to-neck. So I am a bit confused on which one to choose.

Ok, I can wait. But is there any idea by when the z-68 motherboards will be released?

Z68 has been already released in US and most probably within 1 months they will be available in India. They are also appearing as Pre Order in Lynx-india website. You can give them a call and find it out.

my vote goes to d3p5kor's i5 rig with exception of the cabinet and UPS, i personally would want a bit of bling if i spend 75k on a new rig so i would go for CM HAF 912 Advanced and the UPS, u are better off getting 1000VA Numeric psu for 4k both changes will cost u 5k extra and that will still keep ur total budget under 75k

btw about ur GPU situation, i would go for the GTX 570 as its cheaper and nvidia does have better drivers than AMD

A little correction, nvidia used to have better drivers than AMD, now AMD is on the same league if not a little ahead.

Most probably I would go with the above config. With the exception of the motherboard, which I asked at the Lynx and they told that they would ship the Z68 board within 7-8 days.
As for the monitor is concerned I am still confused between the G2220HD/G2220HDL/G2420HD. Though I have a small tilt towards the LED one.
HAF 912 Advanced does look a very tempting option..
