And yes this was what i was talking about dual stereo jack...but dude i guess i'm getting the same toddy earbuds which are given in the lower end walkman phones...****... Sony shall be giving the in-ear types earphones in this budget, as in W705....

Trust me the sound quality talk is all BS, all good phones above 10k are more or the same.
Sound quality matters only if its some cheap 5k phone.
Nokia phones are so boring, for the uncles, and not for the youngsters in vouge. Slim and sexy like the SE phones. So am with SE. In fact if I could afford the apple iphone, i would buy it any day over the fat a$$ N97.
All that application talk is also BS, you won't have enough time to use those $hit. You have to be a big time loser with nothing to do in life but just check out thousands of applications.
In fact if you get time to listen music on the phone, that itself would be great. And basic apps and games you will get on J2Me any way.
depending on your lifestyle buy SE or Nokia.
seriously get some phone and forget it and focus on more important things in life then the stupid phone itself, my advice from experience, you bet !

I got these bass reflex headset with my T700 and they r good enough...good sound effects..

Those are atleast better than nokia's **** .
I have used xpress music 5310, SE w910i, w580i, and zn5 and in terms of sound quality zn5 is the best. SE are not so bad but when you hear zn5 you will know the difference. The sound is clear and you have the option of setting the bass from 1 to 7. also you get spatial audio option, equlaizers which actually work great. I don't know the price of zn5 but it should be somewhere between 12-14k. and also the camera is awesome. you can read the review in internet. it also has wifi.

i think zn5 will be a great buy if you can extend your budget 2 thousand.

I have been a very big fan of SE. My first phone was T105.
Subsequently I have bought W series phones. If you have an ear for quality then
there is no match for W series phone. But after using Windows and Symbian mobile you will find
that they have unlimited capabilities, whereas SE's mobiles have the same stuff in all the mobiles.
SE can't put a good camera and music phone together in one piece (due to their sucking marketing starategy).
Java ME is not that capable in handling multimedia.
Can you watch good resolution youtube videos on SE ? No
Can you watch anywebsite with flash content on SE phones ? No
There are plethora of softwares for symbian mobiles, and the funcionality offered surpasses SE's mobile by
huge margin.

Ya.. you did pinched me for a while, but wait!!! you told time!!! I guess no one is there who is busy 24*7. There are weekends(when not loitering smwhr) u use it that time... there are nights when u dont have sleeps... then u use it deeply(of course when not busy wid "late-night" talks)etc etc etc... And yes even i think that Nokias are not as good looking as SEs(selectives only cuz they have some really weird designs)
hey akshay, modding your SE taking some time ... so does installing apps ... the apps really rock ... like handy shell for instance ... i wont talk about the looks cos I dont really care about looks ...

but today, i think if u are spending more than 9k, buy a touch screen fone ... the screen makes all the difference ... wait till sept 20 and you'll get the 5530 and the 5230 ... great for music and good for everything else as well ... this is provided you are willing to look outside SE
