Suggest me PSU+Graphic card under 8k

My monitor is Samsung 2033. I want to play games in 1600 X 900 or in 1280 X 720.
My idea is Gigabyte 80+ Active PFC 460W + Saphire HD 5670 512MB DDR5 @ 7.7k

Some more suggestions needed.My PSU is Zebronics 450W Sata plus.Do i need to change my PSU only for this card or can i go for any other card with out PSU upgrade?

Ur PSU is good enuf, but II suggest a more efficient PSU:-

Gigabyte 460W @ 2.3k
Sapphire HD5670 Artic Accelero @ 5.5k

As for ur rig, grab another 2GB, trust me it makes a difference in performance, especially with a OS like Vista, or Win7

I am in a tight budget. Can i simply go for HD 5670 with out changing PSU?
I'll be changing my PSU later when budget allows.Does that card require 6 pin power connector?

i don't see the need for changing psu
grab Sapphire HD5670 Artic @ 5.5k and another 2 gb of ram as comp@ddict suggested.
total will be around 8k only.
HD 5670 does not require a 6 pin connector.

yup. better spend the saved money on PSU on getting 2Gb more ram. will worth it. also Zebronics PSU are little better than Iball & Frontech PSU. they nothing but piece of junk & scrap metal fixed together :-x

ya, thanks buddy however parents already agreed. however the place of purchase looming as a big problem. in my city: INTEL plz. my idea is AMD as budget not sky high. so thinking of getting the cpu online, maybe from kolkata from Exodus PC. & rest of fragile & simple stuff locally.

total damage will be close to 45k. it'll be a build from ground up. also thinking of setting up a LAN between current & future pc, LAN GAMING :smile:

Sold my 9500GT for 2250/- to my friend.Now just 1k needed.I'll be getting HD 5670 next week.

I dont know the current price of Sparkle 9500GT 512 MB DDR2.I checked other brands like POV XFX etc.All had a price tag of 3.1k+ So i asked him 2250.

what brand was your 9500GT? memory? still the return value u got is good. now get a HD5670. remember get the 512Mb card. 1Gb is waste. read reviews. 1FPS-5FPS increase for the added increase in price.

My card is Sparkle 9500 GT 512 MB DDR2.I couldnt find the current price for this card.But I found the same configuration in other brands like Point Of View,XFX etc All had 3150/- range.So I think it wont be available at 2.5k in anyway.
