I mailed buytheprice.com this morning ....this is their reply ...
"I would like to inform you that i9100G is discontinued and i9100 is available in the market as well as with us in stock. "
i am thinking about buying Galaxy S2 I9100
Flipkart too seems to be selling I9100G, so I wonder how buytheprice is selling I9100. And no,the I9100G is not discontinued as you were told by Buytheprice.
I'd suggest buying from a physical store so you can at least be sure what model you are getting. And anyway the price will be lower as well.
Keep in mind that Galaxy nexus is not officially available in India, and will never be. It is some imported product, so that means you will get warranty issue. LINK
i knew about that ...Nexus Prime got awesome look..bt i will gt a warranty issue if i buy from ebay..
@ Sune ..thanks for ur info...
I read the review of Xperia P and it comes out it has very very poor battery, low contrast overall bad screen. LINK

Actual owners are reporting pretty good battery life . So I'd take the GSMarena test with a pinch of salt. Also the new Sony devices have crap battery life for the first 10 days or so, so yes the GSMarena battery life test is accurate for the first few days. But later battery life improves considerably.
Also with regards to the screen, the black levels are high but then so is the brightness. Contrast has to do with both the white as well as black levels. When the Xperia P has a 1050 cd/2 white level its simply impossible to expect a black level of below 1. Just for comparison sake, the Dell XPS 15 which has an excellent 1080p B+RG screen has a black level of 0.5 for white level 300 cd/m2. And most other high end laptop screens have similar figures.
An average laptop screen has a black level of 1.3 cd/m2 for whites 200 cd/m2 bright. So Xperia P has more than 5 times the contrast of a normal Laptop screen. And if you compare its black levels converted to same brightness levels as other smartphones ~300 cd/m2 then its black levels and contrast is no worse than any other high end device.
1.36 cd/m2 black level for 1050 cd/m2 whites is outstanding !!!.
But will you use 1050cd/m2 100% brightness ? No right ?
So under normal use black level will be quite low 0.25-0.3 cd/m2 at 200-300cd/m2 whites.
Follow this thread here for Xperia P owner reviews and see what battery life they are getting

Well I'd say go look at the Xperia P screen yourself before concluding that the screen isn't good Would you rather believe GSMArena or your own eyes ?
And SCL2 does not have perfect blacks according to GSMArena - 0.39 cd/m2 black level which is far off from being true black, but you felt the blacks looked black right ? So you see the numbers don't always mean everything. That's the difference between objective testing and subjective testing.
The Galaxy S3 has an AMOLED panel so it has perfect blacks 0.0001 cd/m2 but does it have the best screen ? Watch the video and find out.

95% of the time only one person uses the phone so only 5% of the time SLCD2 is better as per your theory
I'm curious to know how many hours in a day do you share your phone display with another person ?
EDIT: Let me also create a poll question about this. Will post a link once I'm done.
