suggest me a mouse+keyboard please

i want to buy a keyboard and mouse.
regular stuff, some light gaming (rts/mmo) hotkeys would be awesome.

Internet Pro Desktop USB Rs. 700
G1 Gaming Desktop USB Rs. 1,400
Laser Desktop MK140 USB Rs. 860
Classic MK100 USB+PS2 Rs. 550

i cannot find any good reviews/details about them. can someone help?
please post your experiences, if you have used them. your feedback is very valuable to me.

see i've had quite some experience with different brands of hardware.. .and i am the kind of person who makes it a point to personally analyze the hardware i use. through experience.

see as far as keyboards and mouse are concerned, there is nothing better available than logitech..

u can go easy on the keyboards and go for anything else that appeals to you but i'd personally recommend buying a logitech keyboard only.

and as far as mouse goes, dont even think of anything else except logitech.. i know there are a lot of brands out there and the way they market themselves is also quite irresistible but i am speaking after an experience of almost 10 years.. dont buy any mouse except logitech. especially in the kind of money i am assuming u are willing to spend.
even in logitech i would recommend not to buy any combo boxes. buy a keyboard separately and then u can buy the logitech mx518 which will cost around Rs. 1500.
i've been using this mouse and its beautiful. especially for the price. its quite comfortable as it has a rubber coating body and especially shaped to be comfortable on the hand and fit your thumb in the exact right place which results in comfortable long hours of usage.. if u want, u can go to any exclusive logitech showroom and use it and see for yourself.

but this mouse is for right handed users only as it has been specifically shaped for that..

other expensive logitech options: G500 for around 3000 to 3500 Rs. best gaming mouse u can get your hands on...

yup, 1.5k is way beyond my budget.
i can spend max 1k on both. no more. thats why im going for a combo.

im from ncr region, so i'll be buying from nehru place. anyone know good k/b mouse vendor there? i want to be prepared, coz they dont allow you to test/check the items, so there wont be any chance of trying them out personally.

also, mouse must track well. im willing to sell out a little bit extra for a good mouse, but not 1.5k

G1 desktop is a good option as you play MMO....

IMO a USB Mouse from Logitech will do the job as its lite & handy, until unless you have sufficient budget for affording a Gaming mouse with macro keys.

Even Logitech Internet Pro is a ultimate solution also.

I am too planning to buy a Keyboard and Mouse combo. But I would prefer Wireless. And at around 1.5 K, I can a decent, "Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 with Keyboard and Mouse (920-002950)"!

Its spill proof! Perfect, since I usually eat in front of my computer.

if you cant go for 1.5k .....then its better to go for logitech KB+M combo @ Rs.500 and spend the rest on games :D

and if you can extend your budget upto 1.5k,....then look out for anf good generic KB @ Rs 300 and Razer abyssus mouse for 1.2k(actually its 1.4k....but my friend managed to get it for 1.2k )

I like Microsoft Keyboard + Mouse Standerd Combo , they look plain and simple and are the most costly of all plain brands but they work well no jamming of keys loose keys unresponsive keys even after 6 yearsof rigurous use . I bought them for my new PC as well without thinking twice.
Price = Rs 700

^I bought MS standard combo 4 yrs back and i'm really well satisfied with the keyboard but i didn't like the mouse well enough..so i changed it with iball laser speedstar and today after 4 yrs i feel my money was well spent!!

since you are with low budget i will ask you to buy MS baisc 500/Logitech basic MM KB and iball speedstar laser mouse(laser mouse is my personal opinion because i always felt tracking speed of optical mouse is hell slow and doesn't sync with me..i'm much more satisfied with the laser mouse)..total it'll cost around 700-800 bucks!!

The combo packs of I-Ball are not at all good, especially the mouse. Keyboards are ok but the mouse is of worst quality.

MS combo is great deal. But again its beaten for the mouse.

IMO the mouse in all the combo packs are not so good. So,its better to get a Logitech MM Keyboard for 3.5k and a logitch optical mouse for 3.2k.

Don't you think, OP can afford Razer or Steel series with that price tag.....:banghead:

^ i wanted to say that :mrgreen:, but i didnt want to hurt his feelings.

i think buying input devices at 1k range is tougher than getting 2 girls to do triple riding.

it might appear good when buying, but it'll stink like a dead rat when u use it

GIGABYTE GM-M6800 this mouse look slike wireless. but nice design. i like it!!! gonna buy it. definitely.

Yes, Gigabyte GM M6800 is a great mouse too. But IMO it will exceed OPs budget and that's why i suggested Logitech KB and Mouse.
If OP can manage to get Gigabyte GM M6800 Mouse, then its much better.
