SSD & Motherboard Required.

My Rig details are in my Signature. It pretty much fulfills all my needs.

I want to buy a large capacity SSD (200GB+) & a motherboard suitable for my Current Processor.

Existing Motherboards ports are getting blocked due to my Dual Slot GTX 560Ti. I tried to put in 90 Deg Rotation Sata clips but the gap is too less.

Budget 18k.

Rest all parts remain unchanged.

Yes. Can be stretched a bit if required.

Looking at these for Mobo. ASRock 970 Extreme4 Motherboard & ASUS M5A97 Motherboard. Prices are almost same.

Any suggestion about Good 240 GB SSD?

OCZ Vertex 4 240 GB is available at ebay for 13.9k also Plextor SSD 240 GB is at 14k. Which is better? Any other good options?

Get OCZ Vertex 4.

Alternatively, have a look at Samsung 840 Pro, Intel SSD 520 and Crucial M4.

Samsung 840 PRO & Intel 200GB+ Options are considerably expensive. Too much premium for Brand Value. Unable to find Crucial M4 256 GB

Samsung 840 PRO is a premium offering. Check out Samsung 840 @ 14K.

The choice of Motherboard, Asrock 970 Extreme 4 is not good. Instead get either Asus M5A97 R2.0 @ 6.3K or M5A97 EVO R2.0 at 7K.

Found a PCI to SATA Card on ebay so I have dropped the motherboard Upgrade. Now I will just add the card then connect the HDD to it and Connect SSD to mobo as Boot Device.
@Xai - As per some eviews Samsung 840 gives inconsistent performance in Bench Tests. They are recommending Either Vertex 4 or Crucial M4. So I guess I will go for either of those 2.

Any link to Buy Crucial M4 240/256 GB versions? Checked on Flipkart and Primeabgb both don't have it.

Any Help guys?
