Since yesterday I am facing a typical problem.

When I De-frag my C: or D: partition I am getting the following error after De-fragmentation is finished.

Code:
De-fragmentation is complete for: (C:)

Some files on this volume could not be De-fragmented.
Please check the defragmentation report for the list of these files.

C: is PRIMARY SYSTEM PARTITION.
D: is Logical extended partition.
E: is logical extended partition.

After De-fragmenting MFT - the problem went off. But then after a while it started giving the same problem in C: drive.

Any solution ?? :-?

Windows Defragmenter gives these kind of problems when the file is too big and there isn't much space available to defragment that file.

Try using TuneUp Utilities Defrag. It is perfect.

Everybody knows that -

Here the case was different - there was no fragmented files in the report.

Foe your Information I have already mentioned that it was due to MFT - and temporarily was getting solved also.( read original post carefully above)

Anyway I solved it permanently.
