Software for VCD creation (Adobe, Pinnacle, Ulead)

I have a P3 800Mhz machine 320 MB RAM (256+64) with 16MB shared for video graphics and Win 98SE & Win XP OSs.

I want to edit videos on my PC by capturing it from my Sony handycam through Firewire or IEEE 1394 port. I have Adobe premiere Pro , Ulead videostudio 6,7 & 8 , Pinnacle Studio Professional 9.3

I have read that the Pinnacle software allows you to have 4.1 surround sound on the videos. Is it true?????????

Also which software should I use if I have to create a VCD (from the above mentioned softwares)???
Can VCD have 4.1 sound track on it?????? (I think the answer is no)

U r right!! It can only contain stereo.

All r good.. i use Ulead VideoStudio & TMPGEnc, but i did hear thar Premiere is great...

premier is good but complicated.
I have all of them (pinnacle 8) and i use Pinnacle 8. With Holywood FX
