4. Preferred choice of brand - Any
5. Preferred input method - Touchscreen.
6. What camera option you want - Nothing Specific
7. Preferred operating system - Stable OS
8. Preferred connectivity options - 3G, Wifi
9. Preferred applications - Nothing Specific
10. Primary use of handset - multimedia, mails, internet
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration - Lumia 520,
12. Any other info that you want to share - do suggest Dual sim phones also

If you were to choose android ,Xperia M or Huawei P1 are two great options

I gifted the same to my dad. More than happy.
Better stay away from Androids if he was coming from a Nokia family. Because Androids from reputed brands under 10k tend to be slow.

I have used Lumia 520, and i can say that its a very good phone with some limitations.

Right now i m using Xolo a500s, except for the keyboard and battery backup its pretty nice. Since it is my first android phone i cant judge against others. But its looking pretty VFM at Rs.6400.
