Smartphone Dilemma ?

I am a reader of Digit Magazine. I need some help in buying a smartphone for me. I am looking for something in the range of 8,000 to 10,000 for me. I am new to smartphone, so I am expecting medium usage. I am looking for some specific requirements about OS(ICS), Screen size almost 5", camera(5-8 mp), manufacturer, etc. I have zerod in Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2, Micromax Ninja A4, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Micromax A87, Nokia Asha 311. Please note I don't prefer Blackberry and hence, my list doesn't include the same.

u are telling that ur requirement is around 5" screen & Android ICS OS
but u are suggestion Galaxy ACE which has just 3.5" screen
& asha 3111 which has 3" screen & which aint a android. ??

u can go for Pantech Burst awesome Android ICS phone
4", 1.5GHz DC, 1GB RAM, 16GB, ICS.

The only sensible option there is the Canvas 2. But even that lags a bit. But you should rather wait and get the Samsung Galaxy Young. 1 Ghz proccy , JB and 768 mb ram , HVGA 3.2 inch screen, all under a budget price tag.

But yes , the Pantech Burst is simply unbeatable at that price.

The Huawei Ascend G330 is brilliant phone. Yes , its chinese but its the world's third largest OEM. Heck , even iPhones are made in China !!! So yes , the ascend g330 is a good phone. Ask someone who owns it. AFAIK , a freind of @Sam owns it.

FYI, micromax are just rebranded cheap chinese phones and company like huawei is far better than mmx and renowned one. from what you zeroed in Canvas 2 goes as per your needs but i would better get Huawei Ascend G330 or Burst if i find one.

These requirements:

and 10k budget will yield only chinese phones, and by that I mean poor quality chinese phones without any quality control, like micromax, spice, celkon etc, all smartphones are made in China but for your budget you can get only the ones with poor quality.

Your best options are Pantech Burst(they are korean company and that phone is for American AT&T, so much better Quality control, as good as samsung phones), or Huawei G330(the best among all chinese OEMs). But quality of these are questionable, like cheap watches, if it runs, it will run good, if it doesn't, you'll have a hard time getting them fixed.

PS- We don't suggest cheap/local Chinese mobiles

Why people keep saying chinese made so it's a chinese phone? Nowadays everything manufacture in china. The quality of product depends where it got assembled or say "the brand" image of the product you are paying for.
